An intimate and heartfelt Carmarthen couple shoot in Llyn Llech Owain Country Park, West Wales.
Inspired by their days out with the kids, we made the decision to head into Llyn Llech Owain Country Park, near Llanelli in Carmarthenshire.
I love adventurous couples and Ronan & Katie were no exception. Katie was amazing, she was literally like “can we go in there!”. Before making a break for the moss-covered woodland beyond the water stream. These guys are so in love, and I love that they were so open and let their vulnerability show through. They really encapsulated my advice on couple shoots. After spending some time under the woodland canopy, we explored more of the park.
Ronan & Katie married 5 years ago. And in their words “they don’t really have decent wedding photos”. A couple shoot is such a good way of making up for that!
Travelling along the M4 to West Wales is always interesting. Somedays it’s pouring rain in Carmarthen but tropical in Cardiff. On this particular day, I went through pockets of thick fog, blue sky, cloud and back to fog again. I had no idea what to expect. But, we lucked out. Come mid-morning the sun was splitting the sky. We spent some time next to the lake before heading to a high point to take in views of the Carmarthenshire countryside.
