The Temple of Peace wedding venue in Cardiff combines two of my favourite things, city weddings and architecture. (And maybe a sneaky third if you include that it was featured in His Dark Materials). Designed by Sir Percy Thomas in the early 1900โ€™s, The Temple of Peace is located at Cathays Park, the heart of Cardiff’s Civic Centre, and a stones throw from Bute Park. For couple portraits the choices are endless with grand doorways and nearby Bute Park while the steps to the front of the building are perfect for big family photos.

Sarah chose to get ready at her childhood home before marrying Simon in the Marble Hall.  Guests mingled on the steps while we took a walk in Cathays Park for informal couple photos, before stopping off at the Glamorgan Building for the perfect fireplace portrait that mother of the bride and groom so often covet.
