An intimate wedding at Waterwynch House, what’s not to love?! Before Katie and Josh got in touch I wasn’t aware of Waterwynch House near Tenby, but it is the PERFECT private home for a small, intimate, family-focused wedding in South Wales; nestled in a sandy cove of the Pembrokeshire coast line 2 miles north-east of Tenby and just South of Saunderfoot, Waterwynch House boasts panoramic sea views and can accommodate upto 34 guests, with 12 ensuite rooms.

Katie spent the morning getting ready with her girlfriends in a room overlooking the sea. I’m such a huge fan of non-traditional dresses and her short a-line dress from Dig For Victory was no exception, it was so perfect for their informal and relaxed plans. With a shorter dress you really need to go for statement shoes and boy did Katie hit the jackpot with her blue Harriet Wilde Hetty Shoes. Everyone knows I’m a sucker for bouquets and Blue Hill Flora delivered!

For their ceremony Katie and Josh gathered with their close friends and family overlooking the sea in the garden of Waterwynch House. It’s was the most beautiful setting I’ve ever seen with little sailing boats passing in the background. Afterwards we headed down to the beachfront for portraits as the sailing boats passed. Katie hand stitched ribbon place settings for every single guest, they were so elegant and classy and the blue theme was just perfect, not too much, just a nice hint! Rather than a traditional evening reception, Katie & Josh settled down with their guests for the World Cup game that was on that evening!
