Bright and colourful early summer Ayrshire Enterkine House Wedding with quirky details, and an alternative floral crown.
Combining a big old house, bright red farm sheds and countryside, Enterkine House is one of my top Scottish wedding venues. So when the opportunity to assist Hannah aka Camera Hannah came up I jumped at the chance.
Rachelle and Richard’s wedding was quirky, alternative and colourful. It combined lashings of floral arrangements, gold accents, cute cocktails and hanging lanterns. Rachelle wore the most amazing floral crown I have seen. Mixing pale pink roses and little domes of yellow (Craspedia, I’m told). Rachelle’s bouquet was a mix of vibrant cherry astilbe, succulents, pale pink peonies, peach roses and more of those little yellow balls! Of course, her red lip set everything off perfectly. The floral theme continued throughout the day with golden chairs decorated with roses for the outside ceremony. A pallet full of vibrant bedding plants formed the backdrop for exchanging vows. Five minutes before the ceremony the skies opened and it the ceremony moved indoors. Even so, the shower didn’t last too long and after the ceremony, everyone poured outside to enjoy the quirky cocktails.
