Couple in front of Chelsea Fire Station after marrying at Chelsea Old Town Hall

Vibrant, colourful Confetti on the steps of Chelsea Old Town Hall in London

As an architectural graduate, photographing London weddings holds a special place in my heart, I love the urban backdrop, vibrant splashes of colour and the buzz. Everyone is always so happy! But London Pub weddings? They are even better! So I was stoked when Gina emailed me to say the feel of their day would be similar in many ways to Eilidh & Will’s wedding at the Peasant Pub.

Gina & Eddie opted to get ready together (well, at least until just before Gina put her Mywony dress on!) in a gorgeous AirBNB apartment at Cotswold Mews in Battersea before crossing the River Thames to Chelsea Old Town Hall on King’s Road to exchange vows in a heartfelt ceremony.

After an epic confetti throw on the steps of Chelsea Old Town Hall, we wandered around Chelsea heading to Chelsea Fire Station for some portraits. The pop of red tied in with Gina’s red Jimmy Choo’s, and her colourful bouquet from by Flo Jo Flowers, which combined Protea’s and Thistles (as nod to Gina’s and Eddie’s nationalities) with nigella, aquilegia, peonies and anemones. We continued our relaxed stroll along Oakley Street towards The Phene, an amazing, stylish London wedding venue for a relaxed celebration with their closest family and friends. We couldn’t help but head back out closer to sunset, and walk down to the Albert Bridge over the River Thames for sunset portraits.

Here are a few preview shots, I can’t wait to share more.
