Fiona & Dan planned for a relaxed wedding day at Broadway Country House in Laugharne, Carmarthenshire. For anyone who isn’t familiar with Laugharne, it’s a beautiful little town located on the River Taf estuary, full of pastel coloured terraced houses and surrounded by rolling countryside. More famously, it’s probably best known for being home to the poet writer Dylan Thomas.
It’s hard to believe I’ve been chatting to Fiona about this day for almost two years! Fiona chose to get ready at her parents home in Carmarthen, before travelling with her mum and dad onto the venue in Laugharne. The morning was filled with laughter, most notably while trying to get the ribbon on her dad’s car! 4 pairs of hands and a youtube video later the car was prepped and ready to go.
Fiona and Dan wed in the Orangery at Broadway Country House. After a meal in the dining room which was beautifully styled by Caroline at Creative Hart Designs, family and guests relaxed on the terrace while children played lawn games. Evening guests were asked to arrive early to celebrate with them.
As the sun went down, their friend Jim Gibbs played acoustic guitar for their first dance.
Their wedding day could not have been more perfect! The friendliest, happiest people, absolutely amazing weather, great music, beautiful styling and an awesome venue, what more could I ask for?
